Lung and bronchus cancer

Primary lung cancer is a cancer where the primary site of diagnosis is in the cells of the lung and/or those of the bronchi. In Canada, lung cancer is one of the leading cancers when it comes to the number of newly diagnosed cases and the number of deaths in both males and females. Lung cancer is also known for it's poor prognosis, especially among those diagnosed when the cancer has already spread to other body parts.
